Win98 and Mass Storage Devices

Can't Microsoft port all those lovely USB Mass Storage
Device drivers from ME back to 98 and give it to us to
download as a Christmas present? Since ME and 98 are both
quite similair

(I 'borrowed' the compressed folder applet from ME and it
works fine in 98).

There's alot of new files in ME that work fine in 98/98SE. Most commonly
known is defrag. Lesser known is ndis.vxd from ME, to allow immediate use
for PCs over 2.2 GHz for 98/98SE installs.
Seems logical to me for MS not to provide these as solutions. Forces public
to upgrade=$ for MS.
