'close' message keeps appearing
 

When left idle for a few hours, my computer gets a
message, in a large white box, to close. You cant do
anything else until you do, and when you do, you get
messages saying that the memory is full, and no further
actions can be applied. Rebooting always clears the
problem. Any ideas please?
