Need 280127USAM.exe

This file is needed to enable WIN ME to handle USB audio. It is not showing
up as a downloadable file in Microsoft Support. Can someone attach it in a
reply??
Thanks, Ross.

Need 280127USAM.exe

Ross,

Try this:

Windows Incorrectly Displays Hardware that Supports Multiple Input Devices
ftp://ftp.gateway.com/pub/hardware_s...io/7510515.exe

Unsure if that is the correct one, but this website (in French) says it is:

http://www.autourdupc.com/index.php?...98/WIN98ME.htm

Good luck,

Zee

Need 280127USAM.exe

As Zee has already indicated all that you need do is contact Microsoft and
ask and you will be sent a link to download hotfix 280127. There is no
charge for this other than any phone call cost provided you ask no
technical questions during the call and clearly state that you are
requesting access to the 280127 hotfix. The procedure and phone number
for your location are clearly set out in the associated KB article
KB280127 - "Windows Incorrectly Displays Hardware that Supports Multiple
Input Devices" (http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=280127).

Ross,

Be sure you create a safe restore point BEFORE running the patch. Hopefully
you will not need it, but we can never know.

Good luck,

Zee
