Keyboard has gone haywire - Help!
A Laptop? and the same problem being??
Now, everytime I press 'm', the number '0' comes up. Likewise: u = 4 i = 5 o = 6 If so, and as you are some three months down the line from the original post - and the replies!! - did you see the suggestion from Steve Winograd to check that the 'Num-Lock' wasn't enabled. Mart "crackershell" wrote in message ... hi i was wondering what virus protection program you have. i have the same problem but cannot find the virus with my program. My anti-virus caught the (2) infections while scanning with the "Windows" Malicious Software scan" (which by itself did not find anything but my own anti virus software did during the scan). I sent the infections to the vault then deleted them. I then deleted all the system restore points in my PC and set a new restore point. My keyboard works fine now. Hope this helps!! PS : My operating system is XP and my keyboard is wireless. Few days ago, I decided to clean my laptop's keyboard by disinfecting them. I basically used an antibacterial wipe tissue, but because I was rubbing each key one by one, it must have caused the system to go haywire. Now, everytime I press 'm', the number '0' comes up. Likewise: u = 4 i = 5 o = 6 I don't know what to do - is there someone who could help me? |
