Assigning drive letters?
Hi, a question about drive letters:
Is there a way of changing drive letters in W98SE? I have a computer with two HD (and two CD). I have maid partitions on HD1, 1 for the system and 1 for data. Then I wan't to have HD2 as a backup drive with one partition. What's annoying me is that the system has got drive letter C: the data partition E: and the backup partition D: They work alright but I would like to have the data partition as D: and backup as E: I know how to handle this in XP for example, but how about W98? -- Many thanks in advance ! One way to do it is to re-partition the second physical hard drive so that instead
of having a Primary DOS partition, it has an Extended DOS partition with a Logical DOS drive.
