Thanks for the advice. I installed the windows libraries update but sadly it hasn't made any difference.
When i tried to replace the msvcrt.dll file, i was told that the file was in use by windows and could not be replaced, renamed or anything. Any other help would be greatly appreciated thanks |

thanks for all your help and advice. I finally got the msvcrt dll reinstalled using the sfc command and it is fixed. I've been online for about half an hour now with no illegal operations, cheers, Cormac |
