Does windows 98 allow a remote desktop to be set up, and if so how is it done?

To remote *into* the Win98 system? Not without some 3rd-party solution like
PCAnywhere.

If you want to use Win98 to remote into an XP or 2003 system, then you can
get the utility from the XP or 2003 system to install onto the 98 system.
