MS Newsgroups Maintenance Announcement
 

FYI, MS Newsgroup servers are scheduled for some maintenance for 2 to 3 =
hours on Sunday, July 4. Starting time unknown. Hash tables need =
rebuilding, and for the duration of the maintenance, newsgroups will be =
Read-Only. Please take this into consideration and be patient.

I'm not sure how this translates, but I suspect that posters using a =
newsreader accounts that directly log onto MSNEWS servers will be denied =
access, that posts via other news servers will not get passed on in any =
timely manner, and that web-based interfaces will also get backed up.
