WinMe Shutdown Commands
 

From Desktop

C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\USER.EXE,ExitWindows

This Command works ok but the restart from desktop
does not ?

RUNDLL32.EXE USER.EXE,EXITWINDOWSEXEC

Correction to this is appreciated ?

These two commands should be in the WinMe registry
and in Classes.Dat file.
I cannot find these two in my registry?
Can you please pinpoint or list a reg file. It appears
that these are missing. My os WinMe was reinstalled
about few years ago.

Hi,

I'm not aware of the commands being in the registry. You can put them into
the Runonce key - but they won't stay there, for obvious reasons. Are you
saying (and is the point of this) that when you click
Start/Shutdown/Restart, nothing happens? Otherwise why do you want
Shutdown/Restart values in the registry?

P.S. Classes.dat is part of the Win Me registry, not something seperate from
it.

These Commands Shutdown and Restart were
under the Key
{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

I have lost my lot as a crash and do not know how to enter these one.
