Win98 locks up upon browser scrollbard use

Hello.

Under Windows 98 (not SE), when the scrollbar is used on
larger web pages, regardless of the browser used (i.e. IE
or Netscape), the entire system will lock up and not even
CTRL-ALT-DEL will help - power-down becomes necessary.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Glen,

Thanks. I tried searching through the MS support site, but
must not have used the right combination of keywords. The
problem is on my dad's computer, and I'm not sure what kind
of video card he has. I will check it out.

Thanks again!

Even if it is a different video card in your dad's computer, updating the video
drivers may still help. Let us know what you find.
