Details about SETUPX.DLL

Hi,

I recently ran "SFC" (System Files Checker) and received a report that
"SETUPX.DLL" may be corrupt. Note: I know how to restore it from the
System CD.

I was unable to find the details I wanted using a Google search, but
I did not want to spend a great deal of time searching.

Can someone explain the function of this file (located in WINDOWS\SYSTEM
folder)?

Thank You in advance, John

It's Windows' Setup API library used for e.g.: device driver installer,
configuring device PnP configs, etc. Mostly hardware and system (the
Windows) related.
