"not enough free memory" message
I'm hoping I provide enough info. My computer is operating
very slowly. I've run Norton and have not found any virus'. My biggest concern, when I boot-up my computer, and try to open any application, whether its word file, IE, sometimes Norton Anti-virus.... A warning inidicator pops up on the screen that reads, "There is not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again." I have enough memory, and this will come up when I try to open up just one file. thanks |

How much physical memory (RAM) do you have installed in your computer?
If 512MB or greater, this could be the cause - "Out of Memory" Error Messages with Large Amounts of RAM Installed: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=253912 -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "dennis" wrote in message ... Spyware/scumware/adware are causing numerous system problems. I recommend
you download and use the following programs and consider removing everything these programs identify. Be aware that there are frequent updates to these programs and you need to check for them before every use.
