directX incompatability
 

Hi, Can someone please help.... I'm going out of my mind.

I've installed directX 9.0.... it seemed like a good idea
at the time.... now none of my games will work.... after
reading the matrox web forum it seems the directX 9.0 is a
little incompatible with the millenium G400 card.... can
some tell me how I uninstall directX 9.0 so I can reintall
directX 6.0

In practical terms, you can't. Microsoft has consistently NOT provided any
means of removing any version of DirectX nor am I aware of any other
foolproof easy means of doing same provided by anyone else. Start thinking
of wiping out current installation of OS and starting over fresh.
