FYI - Always had to purge documents
 

A few months ago I posted a question asking about why I had to always Start
Settings Printers HP Desk Jet 1120C Printer Purge Print Documents to
get printer to print the first time after every startup. The answers I
received along with my own deductive powers helped lead me to the conclusion
that I must have a selection set to Print To (Pdf 995) somewhere causing this
to happen. That assumption seems to have been wrong. After a recent uninstall
and reinstall of my printer, a screen came up suggesting I establish the
bidirectional communication of the cable connection. On this system it's a
simple click. After doing so, the symptoms really seem to have disappeared
this time. Perhaps the real cure has been found. Thanks, K.
