I start printing ok running Deskjet 640C with windows 98
parallel port and cable. Prints ok for a few pages then loses communication with computer and starts garbling with symbols and prints empty pages. No conflicts with drivers and correct port selected. |
Start by trying a different printer cable. If that fails check the BIOS
