CD ROM
A new one? :)
Seriously though, we need a little more information to diagnose anything...... Reboot to Safe Mode Open Device Manager there - what does it have to say about the CD-ROM ?? If there's more than one entry for it, remove ALL instances, and reboot to Normal Mode - Windows will reinstall required drivers While there, check for error-flagged entries, and Remove ALL of them if any exist - reboot.... -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "ED.S" wrote in message ... CD ROM not working Me too!
My CD drive has not worked either. Upon startup, the drive
flashes continuously and reamins flashing throughout. I can click on the drive icon, and it seems to identify the drive with a letter, however, I am unable to load the cd contents. A mesaage comes up that states the "Please insert a disk into drive" -----Original Message----- A new one? :) Seriously though, we need a little more information to diagnose anything......
