Can you help w/slow processing and switching between programs?

You'd have to kiss him to find out. But I do know... uh, never mind,
uh... well, that COULD be the way Bear comes out of a hibernation! He
was late this year!

My Google goes further back to Brian A on May 6.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned a good cleaning with
AdAware and/or slowing down hardware acceleration via
SettingsDisplay.

Of course, streamlining Netscape to browser only might help
too.

You are right it does go back to Brian A.'s three mile long answer. And
I THINK we can assume somewhere in there he said to do a general clean
up!

Do you know how Bear come out of a hibernation, sf?

Not sure, but he overslept - that's for sure. In Phil
Frank's Travels with Farley, the bears always come out of
hibernation in time for the beginning of baseball season!
