Right Click Context Menu Options... Gone!

Not sure what happened, but a bunch of options disappeared
from the right click menu in my Win98. I can no longer
create new folders on the desktop or anywhere else. These
options are also gone from the File menu in every folder.
The entire "create New..." anything menu is gone. So for
example I can't right click to create a new text
document. What happened, and how do I get these very
important options back? I really need to create a folder
for some files and I can no longer do even this simple
task. Please help. Thanks.

Restore NEW Command. Win 9x.
If the NEW command disappears in Windows Explorer, or in the Desktop’s
context (right-click) menu, run this patch to fix it. “Win-XP safe”

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
