"new" option not available on file menu
 

I'm stumped! I cannot get the new option when I right
click on the desktop or select the file option on the tool
bar. I want to make a new folder but "new" isn't even an
option. Can someone tell me how to get the "new" option to
show up.

Updated your nVidia card lately?
