DVD drive
Anyone got any ideas how I can get my new DVD drive to
recognise the discs....Windows 98SE only picks up the disc as 1.99Gb Audio Disc not 4.7GB....Have used DVD +/-...This causes a problem when trying to make my DVDs. |

If you've copied files to a DVD-R (RW) in a win98/98SE environment using ISO
9660 format, this is normal. ME will do 4GB minus two bytes. No problem with dual layer writing capacity in excess of 8GB using XP. However, same DVD R/W drive should be able to read larger capacity such as a DVD movie. "Return of the King" is 7.92GB for instance. "nobby" wrote in message ...
