lost 256 color
 

when i deleted windows 98se,and reinstalled same.somehow
ilost my 256 colors.when i go on the internet a window
pops up telling me you must be running 256 color mode or
higher.you can change the color depth from the control
panel display ICON.WHEN I DO THIS AT THE COLOR WINDOW IT
SHOWS 16 COLORS AND 2 COLORS WHICH IS BLACK & WHITE.THERE
IS NO WAY I CAN CHANGE OR FIND 256 COLOR MODE.ALSO I UP
DATED 98SE.AFTER I INSTALLED MY BACKUP. I HAVE GATEWAY
ESSENTIAL 667 PC. 64MB MEMORY MODULE.INTEL 667MHZ PENTIUM
111 PROCESSOR.30GB 7200RPM ULTRA ata66 HARD DRIVE.
