Just seeing if this group is still working. It's june 1.

If it does work, thanks to everyone who has posted help over the
years. I'm sure many of you will just go to other newsgroups that are
not the "microsoft" ones. See you there.

If this message dont work, then you wont be reading this.... :)

And as my final post, if this does get thru, I was thinking about when
Win95 was first released. Win95 was so retarded that you could delete
the Windows folder from within Windows. Damn, I had more fun going to
Best Buy and other computer stores, and tossing the Windows folder in
the Trash Bin, after setting the trash bin to NOT save the trash. I
bet the store sales-idiots really wanted to find out who was doing
this :) It only took a few seconds to do this to every demo on the
shelves, after having a friend distract the sales-idiot. Then it was
just a matter of spending a half hour in the tv or music department,
before returning to the computers and seeing all the errors messages
on every screen.

So, you can thank ME for Windows 98 and making it more stable, and
unable to self destruct. big grin

June 1 was not the termination date for *this* microsoft newsgroup.

It apparently is for about a dozen other win98 groups.

But again, we're only talking about termination (removal) from
Microsoft's servers. Not usenet in general.

Yes, as well as many more "groups".

Yes, we ARE "talking about" [your purported term] from all of Usenet.
But you are already aware of the facts involved, and are still
attempting to spread your nonsense that Usenet can do as it wishes.

Usenet certainly cannot be dictated to by Microsoft.
