Wiping C: Drive / Reinstalling Windows?
 

It has been suggested that I wipe (format)the C: Drive and
reinstall windows, my question is if I format the hard
drive and restart the computer using the start floppy will
the CD drive work allowing me to reinstall windows?

Yes - providing you have the correct floppy!
either create one from Add/Remove Programs|Startup disk, or download the
diskmaker from www.bootdisk.com (get the OEM one for ME) and use that to
create the disk - then test it BEFORE formatting the drive.
