Wireless network card driver for Win 98
 

My son gave me a Compaq Presario Laptop 1900, which came with a
wireless network card Orinoco Gold PC24E-H-FC but no driver for that
card. I have found drivers for Win 95,2000,NT and others, but none
which will work with Win 98. I am far from an expert, and I may be
doing, or failing to do, something fairly elementary. Can anyone help?

That card is manufactured by Lucent Technologies. Check their support
site for drivers or one of the online driver sites such as

This is the "generic" package of wireless LAN drivers Agere has available for Win98,
ME 2K, and XP:

It's possible the Win98 driver in the Orinoco package here may also work:
