DNS Error
I need help. A few days ago when I tried to access the internet on my home
computer, I received the 'Page Cannot Be Displayed" page no matter what I tried to do. I noticed that at the bottom of the page it would say something like Opening from C:\Windows\System\.....dll/dnserror.htm. (I don't remember the whole thing, thus the .....) Can someone help me out on this. I've tried System Restore and CCleaner. I've run my antivirus software. This started one day when I was actually using the internet and it's been a problem ever since. Thanks. |

A dead link (also called a broken link or dangling link) is a link on the World Wide Web that points to a web page or server that is permanently unavailable. The most common result of a dead link is a 404 error, which indicates that the web server responded, but the specific page could not be found. The browser may also return a DNS error indicating that a web server could not be found at that domain name. A link might also be dead because of some form of blocking such as content filters or firewalls.
