phone number problems with window mobile 5

In outlook the phone number I enter are formated like this : +32 (2)
411.87.49. The problem is it's also stored like that in the QTEK using
windows mobile 5. However if I want to phone with such a number my telco
doesn't understand this, it expects something like +3224118748. Is there a
way to solve this problem?

Thanks for any help,
Who

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Remove the brackets as no telco uses these characters which are there
solely as a visual marker,

Incidentally why did you post your message to a newsgroup supporting those
using Win Me since your problem has nothing to do with the Win Me
operating system?

I think it has to do something with win ME : It's because it interpretes
incorrectly the phone number so formatted by outlook which by incident is
also an MS product. I find it strange, MS automatically formats in outlook
phonenumber that way but doesn't parse it correctly in it's PDA counterpart.
The problem in my case is that I have about 1000 phonenumbers to correct in
a way that outlook doens't really like. Is there no other way to, for
instance while synchronising, so that these numbers are adjusted in such a
way so as to be useable to dial with it? Is it possible to adjust win ME to
automatically alter the format so as to make it useable?

I would be much obliged if an automatic solution could be provided.

I would suggest you post details of your problem to a more appropriate
newsgroup, either one supporting Outlook or one supporting Windows Mobile
rather than the Win Me newsgroups.
