rundll32 caused error
 

When I try to install a program from the control panel install/remove window
I get the following error message.
"rundll32 has caused an error in setup.dll. rundll will now close. If I
click ignore...nothing happens. If I click close the program closes. In
addition when & if I get to it, the add/remove programs property box is
blank/nothing there. I have a compaq 5012us, win ME, 512 ram, intel P# 998
mhz

I have seen this error with Norton Autoprotect. If installed, try disabling
