Office 2000, Imager 1.0
 

Imager won't recognize jpg files. When I try to create a
new file extension using jpg, it says Imager 1 is already
using this extension. Imager using jpg is not listed under
file extensions. All was working OK until a few days ago
when I received the error message. Imager was opening jpg
files.

What happens when you try to open JPG files in Imager? Can you open them
using the File / Open menu option? Have you confirmed that the files really
are valid JPG image files, for instance by opening them in a different
viewer such as IrfanView?

Left click once a known good .jpg file, hold down the shift key and right
click, select open with, mark the always box and select Imager.
