Microsoft word "word count"

Does anyone know how to reenable word count? It seems
someone at work has turned it off and I'd like to turn it
back on. Is there a menu you can go to under tools to
turn it on?

There is no need to ask the question multiple times - someone will get to it
eventually. WORD questions should be asked in a WORD newsgroup. You should
mention the version of WORD you are using as they all differ slightly.

For Word 2000, word count is available under File / Properties / Statistics.
You can also access it at Tools / Word Count. If you had some other way of
viewing the word count then you may have been using a standard template that
included a NumWords field, or you may have been using a macro that used the
document properties data.
