ME won't recognize cd drives
 

The BIOS recognizes the drives but they do not appear once
loaded. I think it is a driver problem but I still can't
get it to work. Help please.

The same thing happened to me but it was only when my pc
booted in safemode.

That is quite normal. CD/DVD drives are not accessible when in Safe Mode due
to the minimal drivers installed when in Safe Mode.
