Win98 LPT2 Driver
Always loads LPT.VXD instead of manufacturer's driver.
Also, can not change driver with update driver function in system, device drivers, update driver function. It allows me to put in the correct driver name, but then says device is a PnP and just loads the LPT.VXD driver again. Trying to add a SIIG Cyberparallel card as LPT2. Unable to get Windows to use the manufacturer's driver. Tried with Plug and play shut off in BIOS - no different. Any help will be appreciated. |
Maybe I'm missing something here but why would that card require a special
driver ? "Rob Davis" wrote in message ... Always loads LPT.VXD instead of manufacturer's driver.
