not a valid win32 application
 
when i try to install football manager 2007, this error message pops up,

'fm2007.exe is not a valid win 32 application'

although on the box it says that the game is compatible with windows
98,xp,2000 etc.....

is there anything i can do to get this games installed?

You need to ask the manufacturer of the game.
