Problems installing Linksys Wireless Card
I have installed a wireless pccard in a machine with
Windows 98 (I don't thinks is SE). When I try to load driver the wizerd can't find several .dll files on the Windows CD. Any ideas? |
Larry,
I recently went shopping for wireless "G" networking setup. You didn't mention which type, brand, or model but every one that I looked at (various models of D-Link, Linksys, Belkin, Netgear) had Windows 98SE listed as the oldest operating system that they recommended or supported. Check the web site for your pccard to confirm this. Phil "Larry Buckner" wrote in message ... I have installed a wireless pccard in a machine with Windows 98 (I don't thinks is SE). -----Original Message----- I have installed a wireless pccard in a machine with Windows 98 (I don't thinks is SE). I tried to get my computer set up to go on broadband and it won't work! That is why windows 98se came out. It has the extra something to allow you to be on broadband. Stores don't sell 98se so I am trying xp!!! Not working! Would work if I knew more about computers. Good luck |
