I am at the prompt in command mode and I need information on how to
get me set up with a floppy disc ive tryed all sorts of things and its
not reading drive E what do I do I am stuck in command promp trying to
set up with a floppy disk

Presumably the prompt that you are seeing is A:\

Did you type :-
E: at the A:\ prompt - and then press return?

You should then see the prompt change to E:\

Exactly what error message do you see?

If the prompt does change to E:\ then type "setup" (no quotes) and press
Enter.

What (if any) error message do you see?

I guess that you are trying to read a CD-ROM.
Are you absolutely sure that the CD-ROM is the E: drive? It may have become
the F: drive (due to RAMDRIVE temporality moving the letters on by one
increment) whilst booting from the WinMe (startup) floppy disk. But the
screen messages will confirm the correct letter during the booting sequence
from the WinMe floppy disk.
