Windows KB891711 Componet altered Windows system files.
 

I have 98SE and all of a sudden I can't get on the internet. Windows log on
page comes in OK. I found this KB891711 when I used Doctor Watson. Please
sometell me whats going on. If I can fix it myself it would help. Everyone
have a safe an happy New Year.JJ

How about some specific facts? Do you use dial up, cable or DSL? Is this a
stand alone or is it on a network. Can you get email? What do you do and
then what does the computer do? Are there any error messages?
