DISPLAY RESOLUTION
 

I ADDED MY WIN ME TO A NEWER PC-THAT HAD WIN XP (WHICH I CAN'T STAND!!!)
AFTER FDISK & FORMAT , THE MONITOR DISPLAY SETTINGS WILL NOT GIVE ME OPTIONS
HIGHER THAN 16 COLOR-640X480
ANYONE KNOW A SOLUTION OR WHERE TO FIND A PATCH OR UPDATE?

You need to install the appropriate drivers for your graphics card before
you can alter its resolution and colour depth. Until then you are stuck
in VGA mode. Check out the manufacturer of the card and then go to their
web site and download the appropriate Win Me drivers.

You might find an application such as the free Everest Home Edition which
can be downloaded from Lavalys (www.lavalys.com) will help you identify
the manufacturer and possibly model of your video card.
