Windows Won't Start
I have win 98 SE and it just started not loading. All I
get is a cursor blinking in the upper left corner of the screen. I can boot from a floppy OK and access the C; drive and do directory listing. When I run scandisk I get an error that a file name isn't correct for long file names and I need to orun scandisk from within Windows. When I try to start windows from c:\winidows by, even using win /d:M or pressing F5 during startup sitll all I get is the cursor blinking ini upper left corner of the screen. I thought of just relaoding Windows but the disks have been lost (Dell OEM version) Anything I can try or look for? TIA - JW |
