Thats the error I get when Im trying to update my moms windows 98. The
problem is she IS using IE6 during the update. Should I DL another version of
IE 6 for the update?

I thought s/he had; I'm reading this in microsoft.public.win98.internet.
Maybe, when such guidance as above is posted (with the best of intents, I
know), a summary of which M$.public.etc. 'groups do what could be
incorporated, or a pointer to same? At least, an explanation of why
microsoft.public.win98.internet is _not_ the right 'group wouldn't go amiss.
