Home Network with Win 98, Win ME and Win XP
What exactly do I need to do to set up a home network for
all three OSs? I am routing it through a Linksys router. I tried following the directions in the Help menu, but it didn't seem to work. Thanks, Joe |

Thanks, Joe Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on each computer, and tell it that the computer connects to the Internet through a residential gateway (router). The wizard will make all the right settings: XP ICS - Starting the Network Setup Wizard http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...rksetupwiz.htm -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
