How do I manage the passwords and administer the restrictions on user login

How do I set switches to give...

Win98 low resources by
Moir
I hope I can ask this question here. Using Win98SE and when opening
Word2000 the computer hangs. Crtl+Alt+Delete brings the message that
"Windows is dangerously low in resources". Having done a defrag plus disk
cleanup and changing the ram sticks from 64Mb to 128Mb I still get the
"resource"...

cat & mouse & trojan horse by
rooster
Dear MVP's;
I was Googling. A cat walked across my desk and stepped on my mouse while
the pointer was out of the way on the "Sponsored Links" column. Seriously!
AVG alerted me that "Trojan Horse Dialer.8.AP" had been detected and asked
if I wanted to fix the problem. I OK'd this. Then it asked if...

Replacing shell32.dll? by
Bill in Co.
This is a really long shot, but just how "operating system specific" is the
shell32.dll file? Like if one replaced the win98se shell32.dll, with the
windowsME shell32.dll, is there a chance it could still work? (My gut
instincts say, "no way, Jose").
But there were many things similar between...

Saving passwords in IE by

I have gone to a website and typed in my user ID and password and Windows
asked me if I want it to remember the password so that I won't have to type
it everytime I visit the website. I checked "No" and proceeded. However, I
realize now that I actually do want Windows to remember that password on...

folder back to the 'windows' folder, which files are replaced? I ask
because it came as a surprise that the registry was unchanged when
this over the top...
