We keep getting this message when we start up. Then it freezes. We can get into safe mode, but it freezes. We cannot type anything for commands. Can this be fixed?

How do I access restore points in Win ME? Been so long since I've used I've forgotten how. I know it's simple. My OE won't load Inbox, so thought I might be able to go back and find a restore point that would fix the problem.

This is repeat as original says "message not available2. When I switch off machine a message appears "Input not Supported" immediately before final shutdown. Also some jpg attachments (photos) on e-mails will not displsy. The body of the mails shows blank boxes with red x in. Any clues?
