I am currently running Windows ME and want to upgrade to 2000. I am aware that a direct upgrade to 2000 from ME is not possible but am wondering if installing Windows 98 first and then upgrading to 2000 is possible. I do not want to reformat the hard drive if at all possible. Thanks.
