IE 6 cannot resolve DNS by

I have a home computer
running Windows ME
I went to install a Linskys wireless router
It did not work I believe I fully Un-installed it
Now I have a problem , IE 6 cannot resolve any DNS
I have to manually enter an IP address into IE 6 to open a web page

my Linksys BEFW11S4. I have it hooked up to a Comcast Cable
