Laptop nic or dongle not working by
Marcie
Is there a way to tell if the dongle and/or nic on a laptop is okay? I have
a P2P network and lost connectivity to my laptop when I moved it from my lap
onto my desk. Troubleshooting points to it being a problem with the
laptop.. not the network... so I'm thinking the point where the dongle...

peer-to-peer network by
Lil' Dave
KISS, you figure out the acronym.
One hub. Straight through cable. Yes, this is twisted pair. TCP/IP
protocol. Common group name. Individual PC name. Sharing optional for
said protocol only.
Linux is different, not appropriate this newsgroup.
