Win 98 SE and Task Bar by

Hi,
I have had to re-install Win 98 SE on my PC.
I have again configuered Windows for different users, they have, of course,
different profiles. But all users have the same icons in the task bar.
What have I to do that every user will have his own icons in the task bar?

Hello.
These problems points to an strange Web page and some
files that are copying continuosly:
I try the Panda Antivirus and also the XCleaner from
XBlock.
Really there was something like a virus: a worm that was
always copying itself.
Well up to there all was fine, because also the explorer

I've come across a shell problem that I've never seen in any vs. of Windows.
I need some help, a few good lnternet links for Windows Explorer. I have
Googled, but unsuccessful to connect w/any helpful info.

Windows Explorer. Folder window not visible by

the folder window in windows explorer is not visible and
there is no way to make it visible again. If I click on
view / explorer / folder (I don't know if the names are
correct, as I only use a german win98) nothing happens. But
if I click on history the visited Urls appear in the left
window.

windows protection error initializing VKD by

My dad has an old laptop running win98. Whenever it boots
up it gives the error:
While intializing device VKD:
Windows Protection Error. Press any key to reboot.
It then gives him the menu options to boot into safe mode
etc. The only mode it will succesfully boot into is DOS
mode - won't let...

Wont boot...cant find file msvcrt.dll by

Try to help a kid that "just deleted a few files" to try
and free-up some disk space. The computer continued to
work after the delete actions, but when she rebooted,

xcopy32 problem with spaces in file name by

Hello,
I am receiving the following error when I try to use the
xcopy32 command to copy files to a network drive:
'The system cannot find the file specified.'
Now the files it's having a problem with all have a space
before the filename. ex: " Combined Invoice_NAFTA
Cert.dbf" when I view them in...

Hi.
Sorry for posting here but I couldn't find more appropriate group.
I remember using an app that auto-resized Explorer windows after
double-clicking its lower-right corner.
Can anybody remember its name?or anything that would give me similar
functionality?
