Temp Folder Deleted-Regretfully by

I had a bunch of junk, at least I thought it was junk, in my
C:\Windows\Temp folder that could not be sent to the
Trash, so I did what I have done on previous occasions and that was to
delete the Temp Folder. Now when I boot the system, I get a MSDOS window
that lists 3 lines
C:\ Del...

Registry Repair, Clean Up and File Fix for Windows by
milton chow
Every Microsoft Windows operating system has a registry. Your system
registry holds a wealth of information about your computer, which is
why we constantly hear from users that after using their PC for a
short length of time, it no longer works the way it used to. This is
due in part to invalid...

Problems Installing Windows 98 by
Frank
Ok, let me explain myself before telling me that I'm just plain stupid. So,
here's the situation. I have a customer that's looking to operate on old
version of digitizing software. The software was designed to run on Windows
98.
Here's the issue: when attempting to install Windows 98 on...

Windows 98 Repair by
[email protected]
For the last 2 weeks, the IT department has had my laptop at work, and
I have had to make use of the spare computer in the corner. We usually
have temps work on this computer, so there is no telling how long it
has been since anyone had done some real computer maintenance to it.
When I logged on to...

minute, then for the next 30 seconds, it won't go
anywhere. Then after 30 seconds have passed, it takes off
again. There are no errors, no messages, just erratic

I have an elderly neighbor who refuses to give up on their Pentium 366mhz

I think we can all agree that there is nothing worse than than having
slow and dysfunctional computer which prevents use from either doing
work or playing games. It's great when you have just bought a pc brand
new out the box as it runs smoothly due to the fact that it has not
been the victim of...

Memory managers by
Rubyjack
I have Googled for memory manager reviews, but they are far from helpful.
Anyone have any thoughts on whether a memory manager (Cyberlat RamCleaner,
TweakRam) really helps performance or just uses up resources?
Running W98SE, 256MB, PII350MZ, IBM PC300PL.
Thanks,
Dan Hacker
