The drives in my system are set up as A = Floppy C = Hard drive M = Mitsumi CDRW N = Samsung CDR Trying to familiarize myself with the Device Manager, I booted into Safe Mode, entered the Device Manager, removed the Samsung drive and did a cold reboot.

The default home page comes up with a URL of "About:Blank" What is presented is a pseudo search page with many categories, but highlighted with headers providing links to pharmacies, "enlargements", etc. Whenever I try to reset the deafult to a legitimate page, this one returns. Any ideas?
