I was told by my program manufacturer ( ATI ) that in order to get my program to work I should upgrade my cpu, video card and usb. ..but to call my vendor first. i did call my vendor and he says you cannot upgrade a cpu. Tape drive problem by tcal44
I use a Conner CTT8000-A tape drive in Win 9SE with Stomp Backup MyPC ver 5.0 When I tried to initialize or retension a new Travan 4.0/8.0G tape I receive this message: "This device received an invalid command Ref: 05-20-23-00-0403." What is this and can it be overcome with this tape? Thanks

What is the registry key for the user i/f delay? A few years ago, one of the PC mags mentioned setting this to zero to eliminate the delay put in to make the response time more smooth and consistent. or was their article a practical joke?

CPU fan speed is too high by Amit Mangla
I have PIV 2.0 ghz with 256 MB RAM, my cpu fan speed is too high just like an aeroplane running on the background. I contact with my manufacturer & he said that in PIV computer RPM of the fan is too high. Can anyone have a solution for this.

I just upgraded from win98se to win2000. I used to spend a whole lot of time in here looking over issues i had as well. Win2000 is like having a new PC. Only took me about 2 hours to upgrade as well. Brinner
