A couple of weeks ago, I got a USB 2.0 10/100 Ethernet Adapter from HK so
that I could network my old Compaq laptop running 98se to my PC running XP
Home. The adapter came with no drivers but a friend knew what the drivers

Change Win98se user name & password by
SeaMaid
When you install Win98se, you have to create a user name and password. This
is used to log onto Windows.
1. How to I change the user name?
2. How do I change the password?
There is also a computer name, share names, and password for networked
shares, but those do not need to be changed.

keyboard won't work after a considerable length of...

Help loading Windows using DOS prompt by
chip618
My secondary system is still running on Win95. Yesterday at startup, it said

up-to-date 98/95 system startup disk. At A:/ prompt, I changed to C: drive,
but got the message to insert disk 2 into cd-rom drive. (The...

alifea
I need to set up a network with XP Pro on two machines with the third having
98. The 98 machine is to have the printer and dial up connection. Internet,

Any suggestions on how to go about establishing the network?
Thank you for your time.
