Need help making hard drive FAT32 and bootable! by

Hello,
I've got what seems like a rather elementary problem, but I can't seem to
think of the answer. I'm trying to make a hard disk bootable, but this hard
disk is not intended for this system. I'm trying to prepare it to go into

Well, I have been having some issues with a computer that I have here. I run
the setup command and the first welcome to windows box pops up. Choices are
to exit setup or to continue. I click continue and the bar goes all the way
to 100 percent and just hangs there.

I have these set up on Win98 and they work fine from Windows programs,
but not from DOS software.
Does anyone know how to print from a DOS program to a printer in this

the back where the speakers are plugged in and worked fine until I loaded
98SE (for networking which 98 didn't support). Notes from the manufacturer

computer gos to the windows 98 and then to the compac presario then it hangs
up at that point. ive tried going threw the safe mode and it does the same

can hookup the usb to modem and everthing works;but when I hookup the other
computer to the ethernet port it doesn't. My question is can I only use one

i installed win98 on a fresh system. Setup completes without any problems.
Then when the first startup of win98 is pending,the pc shuts down, and
reboots into a continous loop. Same thing happens when i try to start in safe
mode. I already made a new install,but nothing works. What can I do?
